Queensland Rail Travel does not sell long‑distance rail bookings through other websites.

Authorised agents must clearly identify themselves as selling agents for Queensland Rail Travel.

Helping to keep your personal details safe​

We have added an extra check to help keep your Queensland Rail Travel account safe. This means your personal information is more secure. 

When you log in to your Travel account you have the option to set up an additional identity confirmation. This two-step sign-in helps to make sure only you can access your Travel account.

If you suspect a scam​

If you believe you’ve seen a suspicious number, advertisement, or website:

  1. Contact your financial institution if you made a payment.
  2. Report the activity to Policelink: 131 444.
  3. Report the scam at scamwatch.gov.au, opens in new window​.
  4. Email restrav@qr.com.au to confirm your rail booking or report a scam impersonating Queensland Rail Travel.
