Disruption status information
Reduced timetable due to union protected industrial action
From Monday 1 June, a reduced regional timetable will be in place until further notice, due to union protected industrial action.
What this means for regional services:
- Tilt Train services from Brisbane to Rockhampton and Bundaberg will continue to run as normal
- Spirit of Queensland services will be reduced from four to one full return service per week, and one return replacement coach service per week
- Spirit of the Outback services will be reduced from two to one full return service per week, and one return replacement coach service per week
- Cancellation of Westlander and Inlander services
Where possible, we’re providing replacement coach services to support customers.

Services reduced from 4 to 2 per week – 1 x full return train service and 1 x return hybrid service:
- Full train service: Wednesday depart Brisbane, Friday depart Cairns.
- Hybrid service (train/road coach): Friday depart Brisbane to Rockhampton on train service (the electric Tilt Train). Coach transfer Rockhampton to Cairns. Sunday departure from Cairns is the same in reverse.

Spirit of the Outback
| Operating per timetable with modified service – 1 x full return train service and 1 x return hybrid service:
- Full train service: Tuesday depart Brisbane, Thursday depart Longreach.
- Hybrid service (train/road coach): Saturday depart Brisbane to Rockhampton on alternate train service (the electric Tilt Train). Coach transfer Rockhampton to Longreach. Monday departure from Longreach is the same in reverse.

| Operating full service with slight change to departure times (2 return services per day).
