Toowoomba

Crisp winter air, knee-deep autumn leaves, clear summer days and a riot of colour in spring; nowhere else in Queensland will you experience all four seasons as distinctively as right here. Toowoomba crowns the edge of the Great Dividing Range 700 metres above sea level, overlooking the Lockyer Valley.

Swap the hustle of the city for lush green hills, award-winning wineries, farm stays, glamping and roaring fireplaces in friendly country villages –  discover all this in Southern Queensland Country.  As Queensland's largest inland city, Toowoomba offers all the benefits of urban living without any of the big-city 'hassles'. Being the hub of the fertile Darling Downs region has resulted in a city with extensive manufacturing, education, health, retail and professional services. There are more than 150 public parks and gardens in Toowoomba. It has developed into a regional centre for business and government services. It is also referred to as the capital of the Darlings Downs.

Toowoomba offers the best of both worlds, a relaxed lifestyle and easy access to Brisbane and the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. Toowoomba truly has something to offer everyone. So take your time to look around and you'll soon find out that there's more to this 'Garden City' than meets the eye.
