​Australian Government Senior Rail Fare

When booking, customers will receive a discount of up to 50% off the full adult rail fare on Queensland Rail Travel long-distance services when they provide proof of a current Australian state or territory Government Seniors Card. Meals and upgrades to a sleeper or RailBed are not discounted and incur an additional cost.​



​Other Senior Fares

When booking, customers will receive a discount of up to 15% off the full adult rail fare on Queensland Rail Travel long-distance services when they provide proof of a current National Seniors, Queensland Senior Business Discount or New Zealand Seniors Card. Meals and upgrades to a sleeper or RailBed are not discounted and incur an additional cost.​
